Primary care is the keystone of the NHS, providing high-quality responsive integrated care for patients in health and care system.

Integral to the transformation and future of the NHS, our vision is for primary care to be valued, supported, well-resourced and empowered to drive innovation, improve population health and reduce health inequalities.

Our network for primary care is the only network that brings together primary care with the rest of the health and care system.

  • connect and support primary care leadersin their role to improve the health and wellbeing of communities, enabling people to have longer, more fulfilling lives
  • maximise the influence and impact of primary careat neighbourhood, place and system level playing an ever-increasing partnership role in the design and delivery of personalised, integrated care
  • drive the future direction of primary carethrough inspiring excellence, developing leaders and change-makers, and positively transforming care.
